Rally and Discussion Meeting Held in Narail on International Anti-Corruption Day

Narail Correspondent: International Anti-Corruption Day was celebrated in Narail with the theme, 'Youth unity against corruption will build future integrity.' A rally and discussion meeting were held on Tuesday morning to observe the day. The day was inaugurated at 9:30 AM in the premises of the Deputy Commissioner's office with the singing of the national anthem and the hoisting of the national flag and the ACC flag, organized by the Anti-Corruption Commission Integrated Jashore District Office and the Narail District Corruption Prevention Committee, in collaboration with the Narail District Administration. Subsequently, a colorful rally paraded the main roads. After the rally, Deputy Commissioner Dr. Mohammad Abdul Salam addressed the discussion meeting held in the DC's conference room as the Chief Guest. The meeting, presided over by the President of the District Corruption Prevention Committee (DPC), Principal (Retd.) Md. Moniruzzaman Mollick, was also addressed by Additional Deputy Commissioner (General) Linkon Biswas, Additional Superintendent of Police Nur-E-Alam Siddique, Assistant Director of the ACC Integrated District Office Md. Al-Amin, Vice-President of Narail Press Club Sultan Mahmud, and President of the District Puja Udjapan Front Ashok Kundu. Additional Deputy Commissioner (Education and ICT) Sarmina Sattar, Additional District Magistrate Hosne Ara Tanny, Narail Sadar Upazila Nirbahi Officer T.M. Rahsin Kabir, LGED Executive Engineer Sardar Ikramul Kabir, Principal of Narail Technical Training Center Abul Bashar Al Mamun, District Information Officer Md. Rostam Ali, District Adjutant of Ansar and VDP Md. Nurul Absar, and others were present at the event, which was anchored by the General Secretary of the District DPC, Kazi Hafizur Rahman. At the end of the discussion meeting, the President of the District DPC, Principal (Retd.) Md. Moniruzzaman Mollick, administered the anti-corruption oath. All those present in the discussion meeting firmly resolved not to engage in corruption and to prevent it from society.
