NFS Alumni Association Launches Its Journey at Pabna University of Science and Technology

Pabna Correspondent: The Nutrition and Food Science (NFS) Alumni Association of Patuakhali Science and Technology University (PSTU) has formally established its first executive committee. The committee was approved through a press release signed by Professor Md. Shahidul Islam, Dean of the faculty.

M. M. Mehedi Hasan, a student of the first batch, was elected President, while S. M. Hedayetul Islam, also from the first batch, was elected General Secretary.

Other committee members include:

• Senior Vice President: Md. Abdullah Al Noman (1st batch)

• Vice Presidents: Md. Saiful Islam (2nd batch), Meherun Nesha Kakli (3rd batch)

• Joint General Secretaries: Fawzia Fatha (2nd batch), Abu Naser Mohammad Shafiullah (3rd batch), Md. Omar Faruk (4th batch)

• Organizing Secretary: Abu Saeed (3rd batch)

• Assistant Organizing Secretary: Md. Touhiduzzaman Rifaat (6th batch)

• Treasurer: Md. Ifarad Alam (5th batch)

• Assistant Treasurer: Israt Jahan (5th batch)

• Office Secretary: Md. Mahbubul Alam Shawon (4th batch)

• Assistant Office Secretary: Md. Fazle Rabbi (7th batch)

The executive members are: Rafia Tahsin (1st batch), Shimul Das (2nd batch), Rajib Sarker (3rd batch), Kazi Rezwan Hossain (6th batch), Sanjida Munmun (7th batch), Ashik Mahmud (7th batch), and A.K.M. Mehedi Hasan (8th batch).

President M. M. Mehedi Hasan said, “Initially, our focus will be on increasing the membership of the Alumni Association. Our goal is to connect all NFS alumni on a single platform. Through this, we aim not only to strengthen communication among former students but also to implement long-term plans for the career development of juniors. Moreover, we want to ensure active alumni participation in the overall development of the faculty.”

General Secretary S. M. Hedayetul Islam added, “The long-awaited NFS Alumni Association is finally here. I extend my heartfelt congratulations to all members of the newly elected first executive committee of PSTU. We will work together to make all NFS alumni more organized, active, and united. By building a bridge between former and current students, we aim to contribute to the growth and progress of our beloved faculty and its students.”
