Twelfth Grade Election Exam Postponed

The twelfth-grade election (trial) test, which was part of preparations for the 2026 HSC exams, has been temporarily postponed. Until further notice, no educational institution is allowed to conduct this test, according to the Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education.
On Sunday (November 9), the Dhaka Education Board issued an urgent directive signed by Exam Controller Professor S.M. Kamal Uddin Haider.
The directive states that students of class 12 who wish to participate in the 2026 HSC exams must continue attending regular classes. However, the trial election test cannot be conducted under any circumstances until a new notification is issued by the board.
The new dates and other instructions for the trial test will be announced later. The board has emphasized that the matter is extremely urgent.
