JnUCSU Elections Scheduled for 27 November; Roadmap Announced

News Desk: Jagannath University administration has announced the roadmap for the Jagannath University Central Students’ Union (JACS) election. According to the plan, the election will be held on 27 November. The roadmap was published this evening (Wednesday, 17 September) through an official order signed by the university’s Registrar, Professor Dr. Md. Sheikh Gias Uddin.

The 48-day election schedule outlines that activities commenced on 8 September, with the election schedule (timetable) to be announced on 19 September, the 11th day. The final voter list will be published on the 28th day of the roadmap.

Since Jagannath University gained the status of a full-fledged university in 2005, this will be the first time that a central students’ union is being formed. If everything proceeds as planned, the legal framework for JACS policies will be finalized within the current month.
