Those Elected from the 21 Halls in the JAKSU Election

News Desk: The Election Commission has announced the results of the hall union elections at the Jahangirnagar University Central Students’ Union (JAKSU) at the initial stage of the polls.

The results were declared on Saturday (13 September) afternoon. According to the announcement:

• In Al Beruni Hall, Rifat Ahmed Shakil has been elected as Vice President (VP), Muntasir Billah Khan as General Secretary (GS), and Sadman Hasan Khan as Assistant General Secretary (AGS).

• In Nawab Faizunnesa Hall, Bubli Ahmed has been elected as VP (unopposed) and Sumaiya Khanam as GS (unopposed). No candidate contested for the AGS post.

• In Hall No. 10 (Male), Asif Mia has been elected as VP, Mehedi Hasan as GS, and Nadim Mahmud as AGS.

• In Hall No. 15 (Female), Sharmin Khatun has been elected as VP (unopposed), Mehnaz Mohona as GS, and Shahana Akter as AGS.

• In Mir Mosharraf Hossain Hall, Khaled Zubair has been elected as VP, Shahriar Nazim as GS, and Arafat Hossain as AGS.

• In Maulana Bhasani Hall, Abdul Hai Swapan has been elected as VP, Hridoy Poddar as GS, and Rakib Hasan as AGS.

• In Shaheed Salam-Barkat Hall, Maruf Hossain has been elected as VP, Masud Rana as GS, and Abrar Azim Bhuiyan as AGS.
