Israel Faces Fresh Missile Attacks, Millions of Jewish Citizens in Terror

News Desk: Yemen has once again launched missile attacks toward occupied Palestinian territory. This triggered warning sirens in Israel's capital Tel Aviv, causing terror among millions of Jewish residents.

However, Israel claims that its defense systems were able to intercept the missile.

According to reports from occupied territory media, the Israeli military confirmed that a missile was fired from Yemen toward the occupied territory early Saturday morning.

The Quds News Network reported that following this missile attack, Israel's Home Front Command activated its air defense systems.

Palestine Post reported that air raid sirens continued to sound in Tel Aviv after the missile launch.

Al-Mayadeen reported that warning sirens were heard across extensive areas of the occupied territory.

According to Palestine Now, explosion sounds were heard in Qalqilya and Tel Aviv.

However, the Israeli military claimed that the explosion sounds resulted from their defense systems intercepting and bringing down the missile.

Al Jazeera also reported, citing the Israeli military, that their defense systems intercepted the missile launched from Yemen.

Earlier, in a statement broadcast on Al-Masirah TV on Friday (September 12), Brigadier General Yahya Saree, spokesperson for the Houthi-controlled Yemeni Armed Forces, announced that their missile unit launched a 'Palestine-2' supersonic missile on Thursday, striking a military base in the occupied Negev region.

The statement described the operation as successful and noted that the attack forced many Israeli settlers to flee to shelters.

Saree further reported that their drone unit conducted two additional operations: one using two drones to target Ramon Airport adjacent to Eilat (Umm al-Rashrash), and another using a single drone to attack another military target in the Negev.

The statement characterized these attacks as retaliation for Israeli activities in Gaza and attacks on Yemeni territory. Saree emphasized that Yemen will continue to stand with the Palestinian people and has the capability to respond to Israeli aggression.
