Reception Program by Professionals on the Occasion of Begum Khaleda Zia's Arrival

News Desk: After a prolonged period of medical treatment in the United Kingdom, BNP Chairperson and former Prime Minister Begum Khaleda Zia is set to return home. On the occasion of her arrival tomorrow, Tuesday (May 6), the Bangladesh United Professionals Council has made preparations to give her a public reception.

In a press release signed by the council’s convenor, Professor Dr. AZM Zahid Hossain, and member secretary Kader Gani Chowdhury, it was stated that the active presence of professionals is highly expected to make the event a success.

The statement requests respected professional leaders to be present by 10:30 AM on the main road opposite Banani Bazaar on Tuesday morning.

The release further mentioned that the safe return of Begum Khaleda Zia, one of the most influential leaders in the country’s democratic and political landscape, marks a significant moment in national politics.

It is also noted that the council leaders hope people from all walks of life will join together to welcome the leader in a united manner and maintain a peaceful, respectful atmosphere.
