Hasnat's car attacked, what eyewitnesses say

News Desk: Jatiya Citizens Party-NCP Chief Coordinator (Southern) Hasnat Abdullah's car has been attacked in Gazipur. He was reported to have been injured in the attack. The incident occurred on the Dhaka-Mymensingh highway at Chandana Chowrasta on Sunday (May 7). Eyewitnesses said a group of miscreants ran behind his car after the attack.  However, it is not immediately known why Hasanat Abdullah went to Gazipur, who attacked, or who was attacked.

The attack took place on Sunday evening (May 7th); several NCP leaders posted on social media on Facebook. NCP senior joint convenor Ariful Islam Adib said that when he came to Dhaka, 8-12 motorcycles came from behind the Chandana Chowrasta area in Gazipur and attacked Hasnat. Hasanat was injured in the attack. He is currently returning to Dhaka. 

In a post on his Facebook ID on Sunday evening, another NCP leader, Abdul Hannan Masud, said that Hasnat Abdullah's car was attacked in Chanda in Gazipur. Those who are in the vicinity, come forward quickly, please.

The same information was reported by the Chief Coordinator (NCP) of the National Citizens Party (NCP), Sargis Alam. In his verified Facebook ID, 8-12 terrorists have attacked the Gazipur area in Hasnat's car. The glass of the car was broken, and the hands were bloody. Protect Hasnat, who is in the vicinity.

Gazipur joint convenor Akash Ghosh told the media, "We had no information on where Hasnat went or why he was coming. After the attack, we have a call coming to us; he is the victim of the attack, then we heard. I knew nothing before. After learning that a team of our students went to the scene. They can actually tell about this.”
