International Desk: India has conducted a successful test of Abdali missiles capable of hitting a 5 km away from the ground. It was produced as part of the training on Saturday (May 7) at Indust Vala. The country's military media Weng reported this.

Pakistan's Inter -Services Public Relations Directorate (ISPR) said it was generated to ensure effective training of army members and to verify technical capabilities. 

ISPR also said that this training launch was witnessed by the commander of the strategic forces of the army, senior officials and scientists and engineers of the plan.

Pakistani President Asif Ali Zardari, Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif, Joint Force Chairman General Shahir Shaheed Mirza and Army Chief Asim Munir welcomed the army members, scientists and engineers. 

'They have expressed full confidence in the effective preparation of Pakistan's strategic forces and technical skills, which are helpful to ensure national security against any aggression and maintain a credible minimum resistance capacity.'

Pakistan has launched the missile at a time when tensions with India over the attack on Jammu and Kashmir.
