Career seminar and award distribution for students at Ulipur

Kurigram Correspondent:  A career-related seminar and awards were distributed to students in Ulipur, Kurigram, under the slogan "Come, quit addiction and take up the pen, build a drug-free society." 

On Wednesday (February 19), a seminar on career-related issues and awards were distributed to students at the Buraburi High School grounds of the upazila by the social organization Phoenix. At the beginning of the program, floral greetings and honorary crests were presented to the invited guests and discussions were held on raising social awareness, including the ill effects of drugs.

The event was presided over by Ayub Ali, Headmaster of Buraburi High School, and was addressed as the chief guest by Mirza Md. Nasir Uddin, Principal of Kurigram Government College, Captain Safayet Hossain, Commander of Kurigram Army Camp, Rafiqul Islam, Assistant Director of Narcotics Control Department, Kurigram, and Mahfuzar Rahman Khandaker, Acting General Secretary of Kurigram Press Club. Among others, Abdullah Hale Kafi, Headmaster of Buraburi Government Primary School, Abdul Azim, Vice President of Phoenix, Anwar Hossain, General Secretary, Founder Member Golam Rabbi, among others, spoke at the event.

District Primary Education Officer Shamsul Alam, as the main speaker, highlighted important discussions among the students at the career seminar. Later, awards were given to 36 meritorious students.
