DU admission test completed in BAKU

Bangladesh Agricultural University, Mymensingh:  The admission test for the first-year undergraduate science unit of Dhaka University (DU) for the academic year 2024-25 was held simultaneously at eight departmental centers across the country. Among them, the average attendance of the candidates at Bangladesh Agricultural University (BAU), which was used as the center in Mymensingh, was 83.52%.

The examination was held in a fair and peaceful manner on Saturday (February 15) from 11 am to 12:30 pm. A total of 8,728 candidates were seated in 177 rooms at 18 centers under six faculties of BKU.

During the admission test, the university's Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. AK Fazlul Haque Bhuiyan visited various centers of BAU. He was accompanied by Student Affairs Advisor Professor Dr. Md. Shahidul Haque, Registrar Agriculturist Dr. Md. Helal Uddin, Proctor Professor Dr. Md. Abdul Alim, Director of Security Council Professor Dr. Md. Ariful Islam, Associate Student Affairs Advisor Professor Dr. Mohammad Saifullah, Assistant Proctor Professor Dr. Sonia Seheli, Professor Dr. Md. Ilias Hossain, Director of Public Relations and Publications Department Mohammad Taufiqul Islam and Deputy Registrar-1 Dr. A. K. M. Mahbubur Rashid Golap. In addition, administrative officers, members of law enforcement agencies and media personnel were present.

After the inspection, Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. AK Fazlul Haque Bhuiyan said, "The examination was conducted in a very fair and transparent manner. No untoward incident occurred. The attendance of the examinees was also satisfactory."

He thanked the teachers and officials of Dhaka University for their presence. He also appreciated the sincere cooperation of the teachers, officials, employees of Dhaka University and members of law enforcement agencies involved in the overall management of the admission test.

The coordinator of the Mymensingh center of DU's admission test was Professor Dr. Md. Joynal Abedin, convener of the Dean's Council of DU and Dean of the Faculty of Agricultural Engineering and Technology. The unit coordinator was Professor Dr. Md. Ruhul Amin, Dean of the Faculty of Animal Husbandry Science.
