With the Amount of Sugar in Stock, there will be no Shortage of Sugar in the Market: Finance Minister of State

News Desk: State Minister for Commerce Ahsanul Islam Titu said, I have contacted various mills. With the amount of sugar they have in store, hopefully there will be no shortage of sugar in the market.

He said these things while addressing the chief guest at the TCB product sales program organized by TCB at Colony Bazar Polytechnic ground on Thursday (March 7). The Minister of State for Commerce said that there was a fire in a sugar warehouse a few days ago. We are monitoring the matter.

He said, on the instructions of the Prime Minister, daily necessities are being given to 1 crore people every month through TCB. The digital card is being given to the customers receiving the services of TCB after verifying the information again.

The state minister said that customers have to work hard to buy TCB products. To reduce this suffering, TCB dealership shops will be designated.

He also said that the price of food in the international market has increased due to various global reasons. Still we are delivering products at affordable prices. I am giving Tk 163 oil for Tk 100, Tk 140 sugar for Tk 70.

Ahsanul Haque Titu said, by selling products to these 1 crore customers through TCB, the market pressure will be reduced a lot. As a result, common consumers will also be able to shop easily.
