Online desk: Gold prices in the country's market have broken all previous records. The price has increased by 2 thousand 217 taka. The best quality i.e. 22 carat gold bars will cost 1 lakh 12 thousand 908 taka.
This was informed in a press release of Bangladesh Jewelers Association (BAJUS) on Wednesday.
According to the notification, the price of acidic gold has increased in the local market. So considering the overall situation Bajus has decided the new price of gold.
This price will be effective from Thursday. According to the new bajus price, the price of one 22 carat (11.664 grams) gold has been increased by Tk 2217 to Tk 112 thousand 908.
A 21 carat gold bar will cost 1 lakh 7 thousand 776 taka, an 18 carat gold bar will cost 92 thousand 379 taka. And it will take 76 thousand 983 taka to buy a load of traditional gold.
