Information Technology Desk:  Smartphones are useful devices now. This device is multipurpose. Not limited to just talking. Starting from taking pictures, listening to music, watching TV, almost many daily tasks are done with this one phone. People are not only buying smartphones now, they are also buying them after doing research. People now think about several things while buying a smartphone, after which they buy that phone.

Same goes for smartphones and laptops. According to a new report, what aspects do you look for when buying a smartphone? There are three factors in total, the most important of which is the chipset i.e. the performance of the phone or smart device. According to Counterpoint's research, 76% of smart device users value performance the most. It is closely followed by mobiles with graphics and gaming capabilities, which are valued by 66% of people. Apart from that, 62% of people currently check whether a phone has 5G connectivity before buying it.

According to the market research firm, one thing that is clear from the survey is that 77% of smart device buyers in the country do the most research on chipset capabilities before buying their phones. As a result, you can understand how important the chipset or processor is for everything from earphones to smartphones and laptops. Almost all electronic devices these days have high-end chipsets. From Apple's solid performance to Google's AI-powered Pixel phones and Samsung's best-of-the-best feature-packed Galaxy mobiles.

As Counterpoint's research points out, these chipsets enhance the customer experience and also ensure that smartphone-makers deliver the best possible performance across a range of models, with a variety of chipsets. According to the report, 61% of smartphone buyers are quite aware of MediaTek chipsets in different smartphones.

Statistics show that until the third quarter of 2023, MediaTek was the number one smartphone chipset brand in the world, with a market share of 31%. Tarun Pathak, Research Director, Counter Point, said, 'Personalized experience is the most important thing for customers with any electronic device. This means that people always look for phones that have advanced technology.
