Biden threatens visa ban on settlers in Israel

International Desk: For the first time, US President Joe Biden has threatened visa restrictions on settlers in Israel. In an article published in the Washington Post, he wrote, the United States is ready to impose a visa ban on Israeli settlers who conduct violence against civilians (Palestinians) in the West Bank. Biden's op-ed was published in the Washington Post on Saturday. He wrote, they are in favor of keeping Gaza in the hands of the Palestinian Authority after the war.

The US does not want the control of the Israeli authorities there. He called on the international community to fix it. Biden called for an end to violence against Palestinians in the West Bank. In his writing, the United States is committed to establishing a state for the Palestinians in the West Bank and Gaza. The US president wrote, it is very clear. A two-state solution is the only way to ensure the long-term security of both the Israeli and Palestinian peoples.

Biden wrote, 'I have emphasized with Israeli leaders that extremist violence against Palestinians in the West Bank must stop and that those who commit violence must be held accountable. The US is poised to take its own action, including visa bans, against extremists who attack civilians in the West Bank. Biden is not willing to give a cease-fire in Gaza even if he cannot accept the Israeli attack on the Palestinians in the West Bank. Israel has been attacking Gaza indiscriminately since October 7.

Thousands of people died there. Most of them are women and children. Residential areas, schools, food warehouses, hospitals were not spared from the Israeli attacks. Biden has previously supported a two-state solution to the decades-long conflict between Israel and the Palestinians. In a speech in Tel Aviv last month, Biden said we must pursue a path so that both Israel and the Palestinian people can live in safety, dignity and peace.

For me, that means a two-state solution.' On Saturday, the Palestinian Ministry of Health reported that the number of Palestinians killed in the Israeli attack in Gaza exceeded 12,000. The Government Health Department of Gaza reported that 5,000 children and 3,300 women were among the Palestinians killed in the Israeli attack on Gaza since October 7.

The Palestinian Information Center reported that another 3,570 women, including 1,800 children, were missing. The Palestinian Authority reported that the Israelis carried out 1,270 massacres. They killed a total of 200 doctors, 22 fire service personnel and 51 journalists. According to their statement, 25 hospitals and 52 health care centers were closed due to the Israeli aggression. The Israeli army attacked 55 ambulances.
