2 Minutes Bio-Talk Competition held at Bashemurbiprabi

Mejba Rahman, Bashemurbiprabi:  '2 Minutes Bio-Talk' competition organized by Network of Young Biotechnologists of Bangladesh (NYBB) was held in Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman University of Science and Technology (Bashemurbiprabi) BGE Department at Gopalganj.

The competition was organized by Bashemurbiprobi Student Chapter of Network of Young Biotechnologists of Bangladesh (NYBB) on Wednesday (December 30) in Biotechnology and Genetic Engineer category. 

NYBB is a collective platform for students of biotechnology department in Bangladesh. NYBB started its journey with the aim of bringing together all the students and professionals of the biotechnology sector. Currently a collective platform of 5400 biotechnology aspirants from 35 different institutions.

The third episode of scientific presentation competition titled '2 Minutes Bio-Talk' has been organized in Bashemurbiprobi Department of Biotechnology and Genetic Engineer. Students of BGE department participated in the competition. 

Dhaka University Assistant Professor Dr. Mushtaq Ibn Ayub was invited as a special guest in the program. The program was completed under the chairmanship of Mr. Md. Shahabuddin, President of BGE Department. 

Mr. Abdullah Al Zobair, assistant professor of BGE department, was present as a judge. BGE Department Lecturer Mr. Imadul Haque Sohag, Mr. Rizwan Mahmud.

BGE 2nd year student Ayan Bala became the champion, Kazi Ifti Arafat, 4th year student was the first runner-up. Second runner up is 2nd year student Ananya Chand. 

Certificates and crests were awarded to the winners at the end of the ceremony.
