51st National Cooperative Day celebrated in Phatikchari

Mohammad Zipon Uddin, Chittagong: On the theme "Bangabandhu's Philosophy, Development of Cooperatives", a discussion meeting was held at Fatikchari, Chittagong on the occasion of the 51st National Cooperative Day and awarding crests to successful cooperative societies and successful cooperative individuals. These programs were celebrated in the upazila Zahurul Haque hall room on Saturday (November 5) morning.

Under the chairmanship of Upazila Executive Officer Sabbir Rahman Sani, Upazila Parishad Vice Chairman Advocate Salamat Ullah Chowdhury Shaheen was present as the chief guest. The special guests were - Kazi Masud Ibn Anwar, officer-in-charge of Fatikchari police station, upazila cooperative officer Md. Manjurul Alam, assistant officer Md. Abdul Mannan, assistant inspector Jable Hossain, upazila rural savings bank coordinator Gautam Sen, instructor Emran Hossain and others. On the occasion, the successful cooperative societies- Shanti Shramjeevi Cooperative Society Ltd., Harualchhari Canal Water Management Cooperative Society Ltd., Grameen Care Cooperative & Credit Cooperative Society Ltd., Anand Shramjeevi Cooperative Society Ltd. and Subandhan Bahumukhi Cooperative Society Ltd. were awarded crests. And Arjun Nath, President of Successful Cooperatives Elite Desc. Ltd., Rajyashri Barua, President of Srishti Savings and Loans Cooperative Society Ltd., Ripon Barua, President of Maitri Savings and Loans Cooperative Society Ltd. and Md. Habibur, President of Phatikchari Municipal CNG, Auto Rickshaw, Autotempu Chalk Cooperative Society Ltd. Rahman was awarded the Honorable Crest.
