Penalty in mobile court in Ishwarganj

Upazila Executive Officer and Executive Magistrate Mosa Hafiza Jasmin fined A by conducting a mobile court in Maizbagh Union of Upazila on Tuesday. It is known that under the Consumer Rights Protection Act 2009 and the Essential Commodities Control Act, Touhid Miah of Maizbag Bazaar of the upazila was fined 3 thousand taka for not keeping the price list. At the same time Taiyab Ali store was fined Rs 5,000 for not having price list and dealing license. Upazila Nirbahi Officer and Executive Magistrate Hafiza Jasmin confirmed the matter of the mobile court and said that the price of various products of Maizbagh market has been monitored. Two businessmen have been fined for running business in violation of the law. Such operations will continue in public interest.
