Every moment of the match was full of excitement. But the tension between Asif Ali and Farid Ahmed was quite visible. So the ICC has punished these two players. Pakistan's Asif and Afghanistan's Farid have been fined 25 percent of their match fees for breaching level one of the ICC rules. In this regard, the ICC press release on Thursday informed that Asif Ali and Farid Ahmed have been fined 25 percent of the match fee for the incident on Wednesday night. Along with the fine, both are also getting one demerit point. However, at the end of the match, the two accused cricketers accepted their guilt and punishment, so there was no need for a formal ceremony. The life and death match of Afghans in Sharjah was swinging like a pendulum. Pakistan lost the recognized batsmen before coming down to bat for the target of 130 runs. There was only Asif Ali. However, Farid said something when he dismissed Asif on the fifth ball of the 19th over of the match. Hearing that, Asif turned around and pretended to hit him with a bat. The two went into a fight. Meanwhile, other players and umpires calmed down the situation. In the end, Pakistan won this exciting match with two sixes by Nasim Shah.
