On September 5, verification of suspended gazetted freedom fighters will begin in Bogra

Sanju Roy, Bogra: The date of verification of suspended gazetted freedom fighters and enlisted persons sent by Jamuka has been postponed as per the amended policy 2020 in Bogra. The previously scheduled 22nd to 25th August program will start on 5th September and continue till 8th September. This verification work will be done from 9 am to 5 pm on those four days in the auditorium of Bogra Sadar Upazila Parishad. Among them, the freedom fighters under the suspended gazette of serial numbers 1 to 25 on September 5, 26 to 50 on September 6, 51 to 76 on September 7 and lastly on September 8 77 to 102 and the enlisted persons sent to Jamuka will be scrutinized. Bogra Sadar Upazila Executive Officer Samar Kumar Pal confirmed this information. He said that the list of names of freedom fighters who are under the purview of verification will be available in his office. UNO Samar Pal as the convenor of the Sadar Upazila Freedom Fighter Scrutiny Committee also said that the program will be completed with utmost importance and 100% transparency. He requested all concerned to cooperate with responsibility towards this end.
