2 injured in attack by juvenile gang in Ashulia

Savar Correspondent: A motorcycle was set on fire with two injured in an attack by a youth gang in Dhaka's Ashulia. Among the injured, Suman (20) is in critical condition. He was admitted to Enam Medical College and Hospital. Ashulia police station Sub-Inspector (SI) Noor Mohammad visited the spot around noon on Saturday. Before this, this incident took place at Navana Real Estate Housing in Gorat area of ​​Ashulia at around 9 pm on Friday. The victims are Suman and Md Taibur Rahman, both of them are residents of Gorat area. Taibur Rahman, the victim of the attack, said that on Friday evening I along with Joy and Sohag were talking about the sale of a plot in Navana housing when 10-15 Polapan suddenly came and fired blank bullets and created panic and attacked us. 40-50 more youths arrived at the spot with indigenous weapons. Then in fear, we left the motorbike and ran away from the scene. The next morning we went and found that one of our FZ motorbikes had been set on fire. And two motorbikes were cut down and left completely disabled. Besides, a boy named Suman was hit on the head with an iron pipe and left behind. Later the locals rescued him and admitted him to Enam Medical College Hospital. His condition is very bad. Inspector Md. Emon said that the attack happened suddenly under the leadership of Zakir, Rabbi and Chhota Rocky of Vadail area. They often commit indiscriminate attacks on people, including theft, robbery and robbery, to provide drug money and dominate the area. Another observer, Md. Suman, said that earlier they had caused a huge fight in the Rupayan housing area over the cricket game. Based on this, in the evening, the local and foreign armed forces attacked their opponents in different areas in the vicinity. They are mainly involved in almost all kinds of criminal activities including drug selling and drug consumption in the area. In this regard, Sub-Inspector (SI) of Ashulia police station Noor Mohammad said, the spot was visited after receiving information from local sources. I heard that the conflict started over the cricket game. However, initially, the conflict between the two sides seems to be about dominance. He also said that after receiving a written complaint at the police station, the details can be told after the investigation and further legal action will be taken.
