Dinajpur Correspondent: Miscreants hacked and slaughtered a young man in Hatrampur area of Setabganj, Dinajpur. The killers killed him sometime last Friday night and left the body. On receiving the news, the police recovered the body around noon on Saturday and sent it to the morgue. The victim of the murder was a drug addict. Murder victim Mustafa (25) son of former UP member Saidur Rahman, resident of Hatrampur Pabnapara. According to local sources, Mustafar's marriage did not survive due to drug addiction despite two consecutive marriages. After his stay in Dhaka, he returned to the village and spent his daily life in unemployment. He sold about two and a half hundredths of the house to his younger sister to meet the money supply. Relatives believe that the close friends who are known to steal the money from the land sale hit him and slaughtered him and left the body in the yard of the house. Inspector Matiar Rahman, investigation officer of Bochaganj police station, said that they recovered the body around noon after receiving the information. Besides, they are interrogating some people to arrest those involved, including uncovering the mystery of the murder.
