News Desk: After the end of Hajj, another 3 thousand 74 pilgrims returned to the country in one day. With this, 50 thousand 984 pilgrims have returned home from Saudi Arabia till Wednesday (August 3).
The IT Helpdesk of the Ministry of Religious Affairs reported this information in the Hajj Bulletin on Thursday (August 4). As of last Monday, 47 thousand 910 pilgrims returned home.
The return flight started after Hajj on July 14. Hajira has returned to the country in a total of 141 flights so far. Among them, there are 77 flights operated by Biman Bangladesh Airlines, 56 operated by Saudia Airlines and 8 operated by Flynas Airlines. The return flight of Haj passengers will end on August 8.
A total of 25 Bangladeshi pilgrims have died in Saudi Arabia.
Hajj was held in Saudi Arabia on July 8. 60 thousand 146 Hajj pilgrims (including management members) went from Bangladesh to Saudi Arabia in 165 flights from June 5 to July 5.
