News Desk: Awami League general secretary Obaidul Quader has expressed concern that the masterminds of the August killings are still active. He made the remarks at a webinar titled "Mourning August - Black Chapter of History" organized by Awami League spokesperson Uttaran on Tuesday (August 10th).

Obaidul Quader said the August 15 killings were not only against Bangabandhu's family, but were the most brutal attack on the hard-won liberation war. The August 15 massacre was carried out against the liberation war of Bangladesh. Four national leaders were killed inside the jail on November 3 and a grenade attack was carried out on August 21, 2004. These conspiracies are a continuation of the same conspiracy.

He said the masterminds of the August killings were still active. The killers on stage have faced trial. The death sentence has been carried out. But there are still a few fugitives abroad. All-out diplomatic efforts to bring them back continue.

The general secretary of the Awami League said that those who are the heroes of the conspiracy behind the murderers of Mancha need to be found out today. These conspirators need to be investigated and their nature revealed.

He said it was necessary to build national unity to stop the politics of murder and conspiracy from Bangladesh forever. Democracy, values ​​and ideals are being attacked one by one.
