Day temperatures may rise slightly across the country

News Desk:  Day temperature may increase slightly across the country. There may also be vapsa heat. The Meteorological Office has given such a forecast on Monday (April 29).

Meteorologist Dr. Abul Kalam Mallick said that the low pressure area is located in West Bengal and adjoining areas.

On Tuesday (April 30) morning, two places each in Chittagong and Sylhet divisions may receive temporary rain/thunder with gusty winds. Also there may be scattered hail at some places. Elsewhere in the country, the weather will remain mainly dry with partly cloudy sky.

Very intense heat wave over Jessore and Rajshahi districts and intense heat wave over rest of Khulna division including Tangail, Faridpur, Gopalganj, Naogaon, Pabna and Nilphamari districts. A mild to moderate heatwave is prevailing over remnants of Dhaka, Rajshahi and Rangpur divisions and Barisal division including Mymensingh, Moulvibazar, Rangamati, Chandpur, Noakhali, Feni and Bandarban districts and may persist. Day temperatures may increase slightly and night temperatures may remain almost unchanged across the country. Excess water vapor may cause discomfort.

From Tuesday morning to Wednesday (May 01) morning, Sylhet division may experience temporary gusty/stormy rain/thundershower at two places each along with scattered hail at isolated places. Elsewhere in the country, the weather will remain mainly dry with partly cloudy sky. The existing heat flow may continue. Day temperatures may increase slightly and night temperatures may remain almost unchanged across the country. Excess water vapor may cause discomfort.

From Wednesday to Thursday (May 02) morning, two places each in Chittagong and Sylhet divisions may experience temporary rain/thunder with gusty winds and scattered hail at some places. Elsewhere in the country, the weather will remain mainly dry with partly cloudy sky. The existing heat flow may continue. Day temperatures may drop slightly and night temperatures may rise slightly across the country. Excess water vapor may cause discomfort.

The extended five-day weather forecast may increase the trend of rain/thundershowers across the country and decrease in temperature.
