News desk: People have started returning to Dhaka village around Eid-ul-Azha. In the beginning, the crowd of passengers in the train was not that much, but gradually the pressure increased. In such situations, many people travel on the roof of the train. However, this time, the railway authorities have taken three-level security measures to prevent traveling on the roof.
Kabir Hossain, manager of Dhaka's Kamalapur station, gave this information to the media on Friday (May 22) morning. He said, 'People are going home around Eid. 11 intercity trains have left this station since morning.'
According to the request of the passengers, 25 percent of the lowest class standing tickets are being given, the station manager said, 'We are giving about 45 thousand seat tickets. Along with standing tickets, about 70 thousand tickets will be given.'
Kabir Hossain also said that 43 pairs of inter-city and 23 pairs of commuter trains, i.e. 66 pairs of trains, will run from tomorrow Saturday (May 23). He said, "Passengers should not buy tickets from any black market." Law enforcement forces will be vocal so that no brokers can carry out their activities.'
No one can enter the station without a ticket, said the station manager, "Three levels of security have been put in place to prevent travel on the roof."
