The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) has launched an inquiry against Mohammad Ejaz Ahmed, Administrator of Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC), over allegations of irregularities, corruption, and accepting bribes. The ACC confirmed the development today (Thursday, 27 November).
A letter signed by Ishita Roni, Director of the ACC’s Daily and Recent Complaints Cell, has been received regarding the initiation of the inquiry against Ejaz.
According to the letter, various allegations have been raised against DNCC Administrator Mohammad Ejaz, including misuse of power, multiple irregularities, corruption, and accepting bribes.
The ACC letter states that the Commission has decided to forward the complaint to the Director General (Investigation-1) for taking necessary measures to initiate the inquiry.
