News desk: The country's total foreign exchange reserves have increased. Currently the reserve stands at 34 thousand 539.08 million or 34.53 billion dollars. In domestic currency the amount is 3 thousand 453 crores 90 lakhs 80 thousand taka.
Arif Hossain Khan, executive director and spokesperson of Bangladesh Bank, gave this information on Friday (May 22).
Bangladesh Bank's information says that the country's gross reserves stood at 34 thousand 539.08 million dollars as of yesterday (21 May). And according to the BPM-6 calculation method of the International Monetary Fund (IMF), the reserve stands at 29 thousand 879.50 million US dollars.
Before this, the country's gross reserves were 34 thousand 376.53 million US dollars as of May 20. And the reserve in BPM-6 system was 29 thousand 719 decimal 44 million dollars.
