Staff Correspondent: Globally reputed Lesso Solar and Zero Technology today officially entered Bangladesh’s renewable energy market through Greenery Energy Solutions Limited, marking a new milestone in the country’s sustainable energy transition.

‎The two international brands were formally launched at a gala ceremony held at Radisson Blu Water Garden in the capital.

Other special guests included BGMEA Senior Vice President Shahidul Islam, BGAPMEA President Al Shahriar Ahmed, and BGBA President Md. Abdul Hamid Pintu.

Greenery Energy Solutions Limited, a sister concern of Livenza Group, has been appointed as the exclusive distribution partner of both brands in Bangladesh and the sole national distributor of Lesso Solar.

‎Livenza Group has been operating for the past 25 years in garments accessories, electric vehicles, automobiles, medical accessories, solar solutions and air-conditioning systems.

Founded in 2013, Zero Technology has emerged as a global HVAC solutions provider, successfully implementing over 1,000 projects across more than 130 countries. Its VRF, ventilation and intelligent control systems have earned international recognition for energy-efficient cooling solutions.

Established in 2022, Lesso Solar manufactures solar panels, inverters and energy storage systems while providing integrated solar energy solutions. The company currently operates extensive sales and service networks across Asia, Europe, the Americas, Africa and the Middle East.

‎Addressing the function, Minister Iqbal Hasan Mahmud said renewable energy has become indispensable for building a sustainable energy sector in Bangladesh.

‎He stressed the need for long-term planning and transparency in the country’s energy sector, saying the arrival of internationally reputed companies like Lesso Solar and Zero Technology is both timely and significant.

‎“We believe a sustainable, affordable and accountable energy system will be the foundation of Bangladesh’s future progress,” he said.

‎Whip Ruhul Quddus Talukder Dulu described the entry of such global technologies into Bangladesh as a positive development and called for collective efforts to strengthen energy security and sustainable industrial growth.

‎Managing Director of Greenery Energy Solutions Limited Sanzid Shahnoor said the company aims to bring sustainable transformation to Bangladesh’s energy sector by combining Livenza Group’s 25 years of business experience with Greenery’s international expertise.

‎He said the company’s goal is not only to supply products but also to help industries and commercial establishments reduce electricity consumption through advanced technologies, making them more profitable and environmentally sustainable.

‎He expressed optimism that the solar and smart HVAC solutions would play a transformative role in ensuring sustainable growth in Bangladesh’s garments and textile sectors.

‎Customers will be able to place orders online and collect products through more than 70 dealer outlets across the country.
