‎Md Moshiur Rahman new president of IBCCI, Sumit Goswami Honorary SG

Staff Correspondent: Md Moshiur Rahman, Proprietor of Rahman Shipping Lines, and Sumit Goswami, Country Head of Axis Bank Limited, have been elected President and Honorary Secretary General of the Board of Directors of the India-Bangladesh Chamber of Commerce and Industry (IBCCI) for the 2025–2027 term, said a press release.
‎A 24-member board of directors of the India-Bangladesh Chamber of Commerce and Industry (IBCCI) for the 2025–2027 term has recently been elected on Tuesday.
‎Meherun Nessa Islam, President & Group Managing Director of Conference & Exhibition Management Services (CEMS) Limited, and  Amit Kumar Tiwari, Managing Director of Torrecid Bangladesh Limited, have been elected as Vice Presidents.
‎Mohammad Ali, Proprietor of Mohammad Enterprise, has been elected as the Honorary Joint Secretary General, while Abdul Wasi Muhammad, Owner of Exofruit Traders, has been elected as the Honorary Treasurer.
‎Other members of the newly elected board of Directors are – Amit Kumar of State Bank of India;  Mohammad Ali Deen of Runner Automobiles PLC; Subrata Dutta Gupta of Larsen & Toubro Limited;  Mule Venkataratna Reddy of Venkris Energy Limited, Maulana Eyaqub Sharafati of Air Touch Limited, Humayun Rashid Khan Pathan Rumen of A R Khan Pathan CNG Filling Station, Md. Akhtarul Islam Rimon of Ayan International, Mohammad Sharfuddin Ali of Adam International, Md. Habib Hasan Talukder of M/S. Islam & Sons,  Md. Delower  Hossain of Dr. Lal Path Labs Bangladesh,  Deepok Kumar Baral of DSM Commodities Ltd.  A T M Altaf Hossain-Lotus of SAFESEA Bangladesh Ltd., A K M Saifur Rahman of Wikitex-BD,  Md. Monsur Ahammed of MASHRUBA Medical Technilogies, Dr. Lokiat Ullah of Biopharma Ltd., Mahboob Hossain Mirdah of RR-Imperial Electricals Ltd., Sourabh Biswas of Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. &  Rahul Kamboj of Tata Motors Ltd.
‎The election process was completed by Tuesday.  It was conducted by the IBCCI Election Board comprising of viz. Md. Shamsul Alam, Chairman;  Md Kohinoor Islam, Member & Md. Abdul Mannaf, Member.
