Drug dealer including Yaba arrested at Kurigram border

Kurigram Correspondent:  BGB has arrested a trader named Ranju Mia (35) with 24 pieces of Yaba at Roumari border in Kurigram. He was arrested with Yaba at around 3 pm on Sunday (March 2) in the Nawdapara area of ​​the border area of ​​the upazila. Mohammad Shamsul Haque, Assistant Director (Acting Adjutant) of BGB-35 Jamalpur Battalion, confirmed the matter on Sunday night.

The arrested drug dealer is the son of Yunus Ali of Purba Ichhakuri village in Sadar Union of the upazila.

BGB-35 Jamalpur Battalion Assistant Director (Acting Adjutant) Mohammad Shamsul Haque said that on Sunday, based on intelligence information, BGB members of Banglabazar BOP conducted a raid in an area called Naodapara, 500 yards inside Bangladesh from International Border Pillar 1064-2-S. At that time, a drug dealer named Ranju Mia was arrested with 24 pieces of Yaba. A mobile set, two SIM cards, a memory card and 470 taka in cash were seized. Later, the accused along with the seized drugs and other goods were handed over to Roumari Police Station.
