Husband who killed wife remanded in custody after a decade and a half

Nilphamari Correspondent:  Husband Abul Kashem did not escape even after killing his second wife in Nilphamari and secretly burying her. Despite spending a long and a half years on the run in different parts of the country, he was caught in the police net. Nilphamari Sadar Police arrested Abul Kashem from Gazipur with the help of RAB late on Saturday night. 

It is learned that Mosammad Begum Khatun was killed and buried secretly by her husband Abul Kashem in the Baraipara area of ​​Nilphamari Sadar and fled. The incident took place on August 18, 2007. Later, the elder brother of the deceased Begum Khatun, Yasin Ali, filed a case with the police station. As the charges were proven in the court, Abul Kashem was given the death penalty. Abul Kashem has been absconding since then. 

Sadar Police Station Officer-in-Charge MR Sayeed said, Abul Kashem killed his second wife in 2007 and buried her secretly alone. Later, when the incident came to light, Abul Kashem fled. He has not been found since then. He was given the death penalty after the charges were proven in court. He was caught with the help of RAB on Saturday night and sent to jail through the court.
