News Desk: In Satkhira's Kaliganj upazila, a newborn baby was rescued from a market bag hanging from a tree on the side of the road. The incident took place in Golkhali crematorium area of the upazila around 6 pm on Sunday. The child has been admitted to the Upazila Health Complex.
The baby is currently reported to be healthy. The owner of the house, Israel Ghazi, said they were going to their fishing ground in Golkhali Beel on Sunday afternoon. When we reached about 100 yards away from the crematorium, the locals saw the market bags hanging from the trees on the side of the road. They opened the market bag and saw a newborn boy.
