Discussion meeting about disabled people in Kaliganj

Gazipur Representative:  A discussion meeting on the rights of disabled people and inclusion in society was held in Kaliganj of Gazipur. An exchange meeting was held at Upazila Auditorium on Wednesday (September 11) at noon.

Upazila Executive Officer S.M. spoke as the chief guest at the discussion meeting organized by the SDDB project of Dhaka Region, Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) Caritas Bangladesh. Imam Razi Tulu.

Under the chairmanship of Caritas Dhaka Region SDDB Project Officer Farid Ahmad Khan, Upazila Health and Family Planning Officer S.M. Manjur Elahi, Upazila Social Service Officer Shahadat Hossain, Youth Development Officer, Zaheer Uddin, Women Affairs Officer Shahnaz Akhtar, Karitas Saryan Sharma, Jayant Majumdar etc.

Later, the chief guest of the program provided educational assistance to 23 disabled students on behalf of the SDDB project.

At that time, the heads of different offices of the upazila, 140 disabled and elderly people of Nagri and Tumilia Union and various local print, electronic and online media workers were present.
