22 bottles of phensidyl along with 5 accused in drug case arrested in Ulipur

Kurigram Correspondent: Swapan Kumar Das (40), the accused in 5 drug cases including 22 bottles of Phencidil in Ulipur of Kurigram, has been arrested by the DB Police. According to the police, a vigilant team of the District Intelligence Branch (DB) police raided Ketarmor to Ulipur Road in Kurigram Sadar on Friday (August 23) at noon. Swapan Kumar Das of Nageshwari Dakshin Ramkhana area accused of 5 previous drug cases along with 22 bottles of Fensidil was arrested while transporting drugs in Panchpir area of ​​Ulipur Upazila. At that time, the police seized a motorcycle used for transporting drugs. 

Kurigram District Police Additional Superintendent of Police (Crime and Ops) Md. Sajjad Hossain said that there are a total of 5 drug cases against arrested drug dealer Swapan Kumar including 1 drug case in Kurigram Police Station, 3 in Nageshwari Police Station and 1 in Phulbari Police Station. A case under Narcotics Control Act has been registered in Ulipur police station. Our campaign to eliminate drugs will continue.
