Son Arrested in Case of Mother in Ulipur

Kurigram Correspondent: A mother named Ajiron Bewa (75) filed a case with the police station under the Parental Maintenance Act in Ulipur of Kurigram. He filed the case on Saturday (March 16). The police arrested his son Hafizur Rahman (45) after finding the truth in the preliminary investigation of the case. It is known that the mother's husband Abdul Gafur died a few years ago.

Since then, he is dependent on his son. However, although Ramdas Dhaniram of the municipality lives in Adarshpara village, his son Hafizur Rahman does not inquire about him. He wrote down the land without giving maintenance. Last Saturday, the mother came to the police station and filed a case.

The investigating officer of the case, SI Mizanur Rahman, conducted a raid on Saturday night and arrested Hafizur Rahman from his father-in-law's house in Munsibari area of ​​Dharanibari union. Officer-in-charge (OC) of Ulipur police station Golam Mortuza said that the accused has been arrested after getting the initial facts of the incident. He has been handed over to the court.
