Naogaon Correspondent: A discussion meeting was held on the occasion of the centenary of excavation of Paharpur Buddhist Vihar (Sompur Mahavihar). The discussion meeting was held at Naogaon District Press Club auditorium at 11 am on Saturday.

Speakers in the meeting raised the demand to expand the tourism industry by observing this day in a festive manner. Besides, to maintain the tradition of Paharpur Buddhist Vihara, he demanded to build a cultural university or a tourism motel in the district along with the establishment of a cultural research institute.
