JNU student commits suicide by posting on Facebook

Comilla Correspondent: A student of Jagannath University (JUB) committed suicide at his home in Comilla, blaming the university's assistant proctor and classmate in a Facebook status.

The name of the deceased student is Fairoz Avantika. He is a student of 2017-18 academic year of law department of the university. Around 10 pm on Friday (March 15), the student made a post on Facebook blaming the university's assistant proctor Deen Islam and classmate Amman Siddiqui. The student committed suicide shortly after posting. The fact of suicide was confirmed by the younger brother of deceased Fairoz Avantika. Deceased Feroze Avantikar wrote in his status, "If I ever die by suicide, my classmate Amman Siddiqui will be solely responsible for my death, and Jagannath's assistant proctor Deen Islam, who supported him because of his good relationship as an assistant.

Complaining to the proctor's office about Amman putting me offline online was to no avail. Deen Islam scares me in many ways for the sake of Amman that expelling me is like dirt on his hands. I know I will not get any justice here. Because many followers of Deen Islam will stand by him.
