Yaba businessman and 2 arrested in Ishwarganj

Ishwarganj representative: Police have arrested a drug dealer and a fugitive accused with Yaba tablets in Ishwarganj, Mymensingh. A Yaba businessman named Farhad was raided in the city's Dattapara area on Monday night, and Dulal Mia, the fugitive accused in the GR case, was arrested in a raid in Yaba and Tarundia Unions. The two arrested accused were sent to their court on Tuesday afternoon.

It is known that Feroze Ali's son Farhad (35) from Dattapara area of ​​T&T Road in the city has been dealing in drugs for a long time. Later, he was arrested on the basis of secret information, but the other two drug dealers escaped.

On the other hand, the absconding accused in the GR case arrested Dulal Mia (43), son of deceased Nabi Hossain of Char village of Sakua under Tarudia union of the upazila and produced him in the court.

In this regard, the officer in charge of Ishwarganj Police Station, Muhammad Majedur Rahman said that a case has been registered against the accused Farhad under Section 10 (a) of Table 36 (1) of the Narcotics Control Act 2018 and has been filed in the court.
