Body of Businessman Recovered from Corn Field in Pabna

Pabna Representative: Pabna Ishwardi Airport Mor area. The body of a businessman named Sohel Hossain (35) was recovered by the police. Police recovered his body from a corn field near the airport on Tuesday (12 March) morning. Earlier, he disappeared from the shop on Monday night.

The deceased Sohel Hossain is the son of deceased Maqbul Hossain of Old Ishwardi village of Lalpur Upazila of Natore.

Old Ishwardi Union Parishad Member (Member) Khandaker Abdul Mannan said that Sohail Hossain, an electrical shopkeeper, went missing from Airport intersection of Ishwardi on Monday around 8:30 pm. As the night was late, the family members inquired from relatives and neighbors. Finding nowhere, Ishwardi police station and Lalpur police station searched. Not finding it there, he started searching in the surrounding area.

On Tuesday (March 12) at around 7 am, a woman passing by the corn field lane near Ishwardi Airport (Airport) saw Sohail's body and informed his relatives. Sohail is known locally as an electrician.

Lalpur Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Nashim Ahmed said, we are at the scene. Preliminary investigation is ongoing. Sohail's nose is bleeding. It is initially believed to be a planned murder. After the preliminary investigation, the body will be sent for post-mortem.
