A check of Tk 45 lakh was given to the police to keep Narayanganj city free from traffic jams

Narayanganj Correspondent: To keep Narayanganj city traffic free during the holy month of Ramadan, Narayanganj-5 MP Salim Osman has given a check of Tk 45 lakh to the district police.

On Monday (March 11), Narayanganj district BKMEA Vice President (Finance) Morshed Sarwar Sohail and Narayanganj Chamber of Commerce and Industry Director Sohail Akhtar Sohan presented three checks on behalf of Salim Osman to Superintendent of Police Golam Mostafa Russell. Like every year, MP of Narayanganj-5 Constituency and President of BKMEA AKM Salim Osman has cooperated with the police to keep the city free from traffic jams in the month of Ramzan. He has paid Tk 10 lakh from his own fund, Tk 25 lakh from BKMEA and Tk 10 lakh from Chamber of Commerce, totaling Tk 45 lakh for the police. It is to be noted that Narayanganj Deputy Commissioner Mahmudul Haque, District Police Superintendent Golam Mostafa Russell, City Mayor Dr. Selina Hayat IV, MP Salim Osman and MP Shamim Osman agreed in an emergency meeting last month to keep Narayanganj city free from traffic jams.
