3 workers burnt at chemical factory in Gazipur

Gazipur Correspondent: Three people were burnt while unloading drums of chemicals in a chemical factory called MKN Trading in Tongi, Gazipur. They have been admitted to Sheikh Hasina National Institute of Burn and Plastic Surgery.

Zahidul Islam (55) and a resident of Panchbibi Upazila of Joypurhat. Monir Hossain (45). Mridul Kanti Sarkar, assistant registrar of the Sheikh Hasina National Burn and Plastic Surgery Institute, said that three people were brought to the emergency department from Tongi with burns around 10:30 pm on Thursday. All of them suffered chemical burns and their condition is critical. It will be known after the test whether they have been burnt by acid or any other chemical.
