Celebrating the historic 7th March Day with due dignity in Tangail

Tangail Representative: The historic 7th March Day 2024 was celebrated in Tangail with due dignity. On the morning of Thursday 7th, March, organized by the Tangail district administration, prayers and prayers were offered by placing wreaths on the portraits of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and Bangamata Sheikh Fazilatunnesa Mujib at the public service square in front of the District Commissioner's office.

Deputy Commissioner Mr. Md Kaycharul Islam laid a wreath on behalf of the state. Besides, people from different classes and professions, including district police, freedom fighter command council, local parliamentarians, local public representatives, and various government and private departments, offered wreaths. After that, a discussion meeting and cultural program were held in the conference room of the District Commissioner's office. Tangail District Commissioner Md. Kaycharul Islam presided over the discussion meeting as the chief guest, Ekushey medalist freedom fighter, District Awami League President and District Council Chairman Fazlur Rahman Khan Farooq, Tangail Sadar 05 Constituency Honorable Member of Parliament Chanowar Hossain was present as the distinguished guest.
