World Dentist Day Celebrated in Gaibandha

Gaibandha Representative: 'World Dentist Day' 2024 was celebrated at Gaibandha by the convening committee of Bangladesh Dental Society. A discussion meeting was held at a restaurant in the district town on Wednesday (March 6) at 10 am. Convenor Dr. was present at the meeting. The convener of the dental society Dr. Faisal Zaki said in his speech, March 6 is 'World Dentist Day'. As always, this day is being celebrated with due dignity. Teeth are our most precious resource. Teeth should be taken care of like any other body part. We need to make everyone aware about teeth and all patients who come to the medical clinic should be well informed about teeth and mouth. Everyone should brush their teeth for 2 minutes every morning and night and after meals. If necessary, go to the doctor after 6 months for a dental checkup.

Calling to be aware that dentists are not BDS, the speakers said, "The history of dentists is as long as the history of human civilization." Speakers expressed hope to celebrate the day at Gaibandha every year.
