International Desk: Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has rejected the proposal made by the Palestinian independence organization Hamas regarding the cease-fire in Gaza.

He said that a complete victory in Gaza would be possible within a few months. BBC news. Hamas has proposed a three-phase, 135-day deal to end the war in Gaza. The proposal states that all Israelis held hostage by Hamas will be released. In return, Israel must withdraw all its troops from the besieged Valley and free Palestinian women and children.

Hamas made these conditions in response to an offer made last week by Qatari and Egyptian mediators for a cease-fire in Gaza. It is said to be the biggest diplomatic effort to end the conflict in five months since the start of the Israel-Hamas war. However, Netanyahu referred to Hamas's proposal as a "creative". He said there was no solution other than a complete and final victory.

If Hamas survives in Gaza, they will become a threat again later. Meanwhile, senior Hamas official Sami Abu Zuhri told Reuters that Netanyahu's comments were a form of political bravado. From this it can be understood that he wants to continue the conflict in that region. Reuters has obtained a document of the proposal made by Hamas.

In the first 45 days of the ceasefire, all Israeli women, men under the age of 19 and sick people held hostage by Hamas will be released, the document said. In return, women and children imprisoned in Israeli prisons must be released. In this step, Israel will withdraw troops from populated areas of Gaza.

A source close to the negotiators said the Hamas proposal initially did not include guarantees for a permanent ceasefire. But a ceasefire must be agreed before the last hostages can be released. A second source said Hamas wanted guarantees from Qatar, Egypt and other friendly countries that the ceasefire would remain in place and that the deal would not collapse with the release of the hostages.
