International Desk: Ukraine-Russia war situation is getting complicated. Although the war is mainly between Ukraine and Russia, various countries are indirectly involved in it. In such a situation, Russian President Vladimir Putin is going to turn the Ukraine war into a 'global' war. He warned that he would not hesitate to attack Western countries if necessary.
Last Tuesday (November 19) and Wednesday (November 20) Ukraine attacked Russian territory using long-range missiles provided by the West. In response to this, on Thursday (November 21), Russia attacked the Dnipro area of Ukraine with a new type of missile.
Initially thought to be an intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM), Moscow later said it was a new generation hypersonic missile. This missile can also carry ICBM-like nuclear weapons, Putin said. In anticipation of the upcoming winter season, Russia has launched a massive missile and drone attack on Ukraine for a couple of weeks.
The country is also making great progress in the war in the eastern part of Ukraine. On Thursday (November 21), the Russian Defense Ministry said it has recaptured the important village of Dalane in the Donetsk region. Meanwhile, Russia's new ballistic missile attack on Ukraine will not change the nature of the conflict, nor will NATO back down from supporting Kiev. Western military alliance NATO spokeswoman Farah Dakhlallah said. A NATO spokesman said Russia was using intermediate-range ballistic missiles to terrorize civilians and allies of Ukraine. However, NATO allies will not back down from supporting Ukraine. The former army chief of Ukraine Velary Zhaluzhny claimed that the third world war has already started in the world. According to him, the direct involvement of Russian allies in the Ukraine war is indicative of this.
