1 died after being hit by a train in Chatmohar

Tofazzal Hossain Babu, Pabna: An unidentified child died after falling on a train at Chatmohar railway station in Pabna. The deceased child is believed to be 13 years old. The accident took place at Chatmohar railway station area around 5:30 pm on Monday (September 5). Masum Ali Khan, station master in charge of Chatmohar railway station, said that the child died after being hit by the Banlata Express train from Dhaka to Rajshahi at around 5:30 pm. The boy was probably alighting from the Dhaka-bound intercity Padma Express train from Rajshahi and crossing the railway tracks. At that time, he was hit by a fast-moving Banalta train. He also said that the name of the dead child has not been found.
