According to local sources, in the morning three people along with Jhantu went to the local hotel to eat khichuri. One of these two is named Momin. All three of them work on tiles together. While eating khichuri, they attacked Jhantu due to a dispute between them. Jhantu is killed by cutting with something sharp. Manik Mia, the owner of the hotel, said that three of them came and sat down to eat khichuri. After a while they want water. Immediately after giving water, they attacked Jhuntu. Then they moved away in fear. But he could not see what killed him. Jhantu's father Afzal Hossain said that in the morning Momin came and called his son. They also work on tiles together. They eat with their son in the hotel. He was in that area at that time. After some time Jhuntuke started to fight with Da. At this time, some other people entered the hotel and killed his son. No one came forward. Later, when he was taken to the hospital, the doctor said that Jhantu was dead. Afzal Hossain also said that about 9 years ago his brother Shaheen was killed in sand business. He alleged that Mithu, Rahman, Masud, the main masterminds of the incident, were involved in the murder of his son. Naruli police outpost in-charge (inspector) Mahmud Hasan confirmed the murder.
