NCTF's discussion with Bogra Superintendent of Police on the implementation of Child Rights Charter

Bogra Correspondent: The National Children's Task Force (NCTF) Bogra leaders exchanged views with District Superintendent of Police Sudip Kumar Chakraborty BPM on Saturday afternoon with the determination to work unitedly in the implementation of the United Nations Children's Rights Charter at the grassroots level in Bogra and the overall child rights situation in the district. Under the leadership of NCTF Bogra President Zubair Ahmed, general secretary of the organization Afia Ibnat Naqshi informed the Superintendent of Police about NCTF working as a national children's organization across the country and its activities. On behalf of the children, Nakshi said that NCTF is currently working on the implementation of the United Nations Children's Rights Charter up to the grassroots level of the country under Y Moves project and with the cooperation of Yes Bangladesh. In the meeting, Deputy Speaker of Child Parliament and Child MP of NCTF Bogra Mahmood Al Jihad informed the Superintendent of Police about the Child Parliament held every year and at the same time highlighted some important points about what can be done to achieve more positive results in the establishment of child rights in Bogra. After listening to all the words of NCTF leaders, District Superintendent of Police Sudeep Kumar Chakraborty said to the children with utmost compassion and sincerity that the district police family is always sincere and sensitive in ensuring the protection and rights of children in Bogra. They are providing services through a woman police officer at the special help desk in the 12 police stations of the district to ensure any legal or interest-related services for the children. He urged the NCTF leaders to visit this helpdesk any day. The Superintendent of Police gave detailed information to the child leaders about the online GD process, measures to prevent cybercrime and services provided by the district police, which he said would be disseminated among the school committee members of NCTF. He also promised to always stand by the leaders of NCTF in all activities related to the establishment of children's rights and children's development in Bogra. At the same time, he encouraged the children to move forward in good work as he will look sincerely and positively as always in all the things to be done by the district police to ensure the protection of children in the district and to implement the United Nations Charter of Children's Rights. Additional Superintendent of Police (Crime and Ops) Abdur Rashid, Joint Secretary of NCTF Samiul Haque Nahian, Child Parliament Member Tabassum Nahar Dia, Child Researcher respectively Maliha Islam, Child Journalist were present in the exchange meeting under the management of NCTF District Volunteer Habiba Nasreen.
