A day-long cooking workshop for entrepreneurs was held at Bogra

Sanju Roy, Bogra: An exceptional cooking workshop on baking, cooking and dessert items was held at Rochas Restaurant Auditorium at Mofiz Pagla Mor in the city from Friday morning, organized by Lobi Rahman Cooking Foundation in Bogra. Sahadara Mannan MP, Member of Parliament of Bogra-1 Constituency, spoke as the chief guest at the workshop chaired by Tahmina Parveen Shyamli, president of Lobi Rahman Foundation and woman entrepreneur. In the speech of the chief guest, he said that the activities being conducted by Lobi Rahman Cooking Foundation to advance backward women at the district level are quite commendable. He said that not only for the family at home but also outside the home, women are emerging as chefs in their own positions as entrepreneurs which will help in building a prosperous Bangladesh. As women will be self-reliant, the country's economy will also advance. Internationally renowned chef Tony Khan, Central Committee President Lobi Rahman of Lobi Rahman Foundation, Editor Romana Rahman, Joint Editor Nahid Sultana and Treasurer Pauline De Rosario were present as trainers in the workshop. Sultana Kabir, president of Noakhali district of the organization, Afroza Khanam Mukta, president of Manikganj and many others were also present at this time. 50 entrepreneurs participated in this day-long workshop. Certificates were awarded to all participants at the end of the event.
